Did you ever look at the album design of a record in your collection and wonder how it came to be?
Chances are, you stared at many of them that were designed by Kosh, He joined myself and FM Odyssey's Steve Matteo, to share his behind the scenes stories of how his album designs became part of the soundtrack of our lives. John Kosh, known simply as Kosh, is an English art director, album cover designer, graphic artist, and documentary producer/director. He designed the covers of the final two albums from the Beatles, 'Abbey Road' and 'Let It Be', five album covers for Ringo Starr and the sleeve for the single of John Lennon's "Give Peace A Chance." Kosh designed four album covers for the Eagles, including their iconic 'Hotel California'. He also designed the controversial cover for 'Who's Next' from The Who. You will also see his design work on covers for the Rolling Stones, T. Rex, Badfinger, James Taylor, the Electric Light Orchestra, Rod Stewart, Carole King, Bonnie Raitt, Randy Newman, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, as well as many many more. Kosh also designed more than 20 album covers for close friend Linda Ronstadt. He is a three-time Grammy winner & he joined myself and FM Odyssey's Steve Matteo, to share his stories.
